The young shoots of Bouygues Telecom evolve within the team Vendée U Pays de la Loire, founded in 1991 by Jean-Rene Bernaudeau. Its operation is enabled through the partnership of the General Council of Vendée, the group U stores and the Regional Council of Pays de la Loire. Nearly fifty professional riders are awarded by the French Vendée U Pays de la Loire. The team has excellent infrastructure symbolized by Le Manoir Saint-Michel, the center’s training team, located in Essarts at the heart of the Vendee.
The size of the Vendée U Pays de la Loire is made up of 17 riders in 2009. The team involved not only in big races on the international calendar Hopes, but also to regional events to promote cycling Vendée.
