Frédéric Amorison winner of the first pro race at Wanzele
The first individual pro race of the Belgian season was run today at Wanzele with 146 starters.
After a lively race, five riders took off in the finale, the winner being Frédéric Amorison (Landbouwkrediet) ahead of Sep Vanmarcke (Topsport Vlaanderen) and Koen Barbé (Landbouwkrediet).
The peloton finished half a minute later, our Adam Blythe and Kenny Dehaes taking 8th and 12th.

3-daagse West-Vlaanderen: another bouquet for Jens Keukeleire
Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen is traditionally the first multi-stage race of the Belgian season, Stage one was run today over 183.5 kilometres from Kortrijk Bellegem, with an initial 80 kilometres on line part, followed by a large 35 kilometres and three smaller local circuits over 17.5 kilometres.
Our riders were constantly with the head of the race, which ended with the usual pack sprint.
Jens Keukeleire (Cofidis) repeated his GP Le Samyn win, collecting two bouquets in three days. We placed 6 riders with the peloton; our best man was Adam Blythe, 15th.
